Itinerary

1 - Monday ( October 19 ) : North Bound: Borders & Briefings

We arrive and head north, visiting communities that were deeply impacted by the war. Standing at lookout points along the borders with Syria and Lebanon, we will have an on-the-ground geopolitical briefing that puts the landscape and the last few years into context. As we cross the Golan and Galilee, we will stop at key cities to understand the scope of the damage on businesses and communities, and connect with local organizations focused on rebuilding and resilience.

2 - Tuesday ( October 20 ) : Agency Power Day!

Spend the day with leadership and professionals from the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee(JDC) - two organizations that mobilize time and again to support Jews and Israelis in Israel and around the world. We will hear about their efforts since October 7th to support displaced families, children, and communities, and meet program recipients to understand how their resilience in times of such tragedy. We will also explore what the ongoing relationship between Diaspora Jewry and Israel looks like in the wake of the most recent war, in light of rising antisemitism in the world, and going forward, together as one people.

3 - Wednesday ( October 21 ) : J'lem's Layers: Past to Present

As the capital city of Israel, Jerusalem is also one of its most diverse. We’ll spend a day in Jerusalem meeting with organizations working to strengthen the city's diverse communities and support those most in need. We walk through historical alleyways and stop at community centers bridging the past and present with a brighter future. From arts and education to coexistence and technology, you’ll come away with a comprehensive understanding of what rebuilding looks like in one of the world's most layered cities.

4 - Thursday ( October 22 ) : Rehovot Rally & Partnership

Head to our partnership city Rehovot to meet with local residents, visit small businesses, and connect with our partnership leaders. We’ll dive into the definition of community, as we share what our community is facing in Minneapolis and hear their needs. Together, we’ll discuss and plan creative ways to continue supporting each other from near and far.

5 - Friday ( October 23 ) : Shuk, Shop, & Shabbat Vibe

There’s nothing quite like Friday morning in Tel Aviv - cafes and streets are packed and busy with conversation, dog walking, and fashion. We’ll take the morning to explore the outdoor food market, Shuk HaCarmel.Our guide will share the market's history and the stories of the vendors who have built their businesses here across generations. Our afternoon will be free for shopping and exploring. Toward evening, we will transition into Shabbat with optional synagogue services and a communal dinner to close the week.

6 - Saturday ( October 24 ) : Stories, Soul-Search, & Sendoff

Shabbat is for rest and slower days. So take the morning to visit a nearby synagogue, walk on the beach, or just take time for yourselves. In the afternoon we will reconvene to meet with a local entrepreneur and hear about the challenges and successes in building a business in today's Israel. We will then host an open, group reflection on all we gained and shared during the week. We close with a final dinner together before heading to the airport.

Terms of Payment

Deposit is due immediately to secure the booking.

Balance for the trip is due no later than 60 days prior to the first day of trip. An invoice will be sent 90 days before the trip.

Please note: 

  • The itinerary is subject to change as a result of unforeseen changes from suppliers, weather, etc.
  • This proposal is valid for 1 week for private clients and 10 days for groups. 

 

Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be cancelled within 48 hours AFTER REGISTRATION, with a full refund.

For cancellations made:

·         Up to 60 days prior to departure, any payments above the deposit towards the trip will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable.

·         60-30 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded.

·         29-0 days prior to departure, the client will incur 100% of the cost of the tour.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
