Outstanding service. When all of this craziness is done take a trip to Israel and book it with Via Sabra and deal with an amazing lady by the name of Ruth Kringle. Ruth's attention to detail, caring personality, and very competent guide staff made for a memorable trip and when we got caught up in the pandemic and had to head home to Canada her help was invaluable. Ruth and Via Sabra really went above and beyond and I would highly recommend their services.

Another life changing tour This was our third trip with via sabra and it was outstanding. We went with Aliza Green who is a cook and cookbook writer who provided us with lots of insights. Orit Levi our tour guide (third time) was excellent. Via Sabra makes every trip different so we did not feel as if we were repeating anything. We took our seven year old grandson who was well received and loved the trip. Via Sabra is caring and strives to accommodate any requests. We cannot recommend Via Sabra enough and we are looking forward to our next trip.

Culinary tour of Israel with Aliza Green We were very excited when we found this tour after searching for trips to Israel. The idea of combining a food tour and the opportunity to see a lot of Israel seemed like a perfect fit. First let me describe the touring element and say I had know idea how thoroughly we would cover the country. While we stayed in four places when you add in the day trips I felt we had incredible exposure to what was a far more beautiful country than I expected. The only complaint anyone could have about the food element was how much was available to eat. The variety was incredible and the quality was very high. Aliza did a great job of finding many unique dining and tasting sites and our Via Sabra guide Orit was the best I have experienced after extensive travel. For us this was the ideal Israel trip.

Have you sailed the Dead Sea? We did Via Sabra gave us an Israel experience like no other. The bookings, the guides, where we went, everything was a joy, the perfect combination of touring, learning and fun. From intellectual engagement with an IDF Colonel who designed the border fence, to sailing the Dead Sea in the only boat licensed to travel there, to climbing Masada to see the sunrise, to experiencing the highs (Tel Aviav, Beereshet resort) and lows (Yad Vashem, Mr. Herzl) that Israel has to offer.

Outstanding "one-of-a-kind" experience Our trip with Via Sabra exploring the rich history, culture and food of the Jews from Arab countries was excellent in every respect. It is a side of Israel that most don't see, yet critical to understanding Israel today. Highly recommended!

Incredible personalized tour! Our small group from Santa Fe, NM was treated to an original tour "following the footsteps of Jews from Arab countries." We explored a fascinating part of Israel's history, culture, and society that is important, interesting, and tasty! The itinerary was creative, Segev was a great tour guide and the accommodations/transportation was top-notch. Thank you!

Great Culinary Day Tour in Galilee Have been to Israel many times, and being foodies the Culinary Day Tour in Galilee looked just up our alley, and it certainly delivered. We spent a wonderful day with Vadim, a very knowledge and fun guide who loves food too like us. First, a few hours of culinary delights and tasting local delicacies in Akko (or Acre). We learned a lot about the history of the area and got some good insights into local food purveyors you will rarely find elsewhere, like the spice shop that's been in the same family since the Ottoman Empire times, or the local sweets seller who brings his treats on a cart from his home each morning. Akko is an intriguing port city with an immense multicultural history, and the local food shows it. Then we were off to Sallama, a Bedouin village midway between Akko and the Sea of Galilee. There we spent a truly memorable evening with a very hospitable Bedouin family, learning about their history (from the desert to a modern village), and then cooked and ate delicious meal with the family (way too much food, but was simply delightful). Unfortunately didn't get to spend any time in their tent because weather conditions weren't favorable but we got a nice invitation to return (and we certainly will) Overall a memorable day filled with great food, good company and wonderful experiences. Will definitely repeat. Also, Jenny at Via Sabra was great to work with. We booked our experience very last minute during our Israel trip in December, and Jenny made everything so easy and smooth for everyone. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal Culinary Tour My wife, 16 year old son and I just returned from a ten day tour with Via Sabra. I am a chef and restaurant owner, so had a private tour tailor-made. Via Sabra arranged various Arab and Jewish chefs, and food tour guides, to join us in different cities e.g. (Osama Dalal and Orit Levy). One evening we cooked sensational, rustic dishes with a lovely Druze women in her home. She spoke no English, yet could not have been sweeter, or more hospitable. We also had an unbelievable military special forces, full-time guide, Tom, who was exceptional, and we miss him dearly. I can not say enough about how well Via Sabra did at creating an experience based on exactly what I communicated. They even arranged VIP airport service which I can not recommend highly enough. What a pleasure. I can not wait to return to Israel with Via Sabra. This was truly a trip of a lifetime.
