Israeli cuisine and culture with the ladies
We were a small group of 5 women coming together to experience the cuisine of Israel and discovered so much more… culture, history, politics and in the process developed deep and meaningful friendships through these amazing experiences.
We began our tour in Jerusalem, travelled to Galilee and Tel Aviv and from the get go ate and drank like royalty!
Warning! Be prepared to eat and I mean really eat, as in I wished I had started boot camp training for this weeks in advance. What I realized through this your is that Israeli cuisine spans the scope of worldly cuisine because Israel is a fusion of so many cultures.
I ate food that was beyond anything I had tasted. Explosions of flavors I would say. Between markets,farms, kibbutz and restaurants I tried a massive variety of foods that scintillated my palate.
I also was incredibly fortunate to have Orit as my tour guide. Orit goes above and beyond to make every single experience on this journey enriching, fun filled and full of knowledge. I ended this tour completely in love with Israel and its culture because of her.
I can’t recommend Via Sabra highly enough to do them justice. They are professional and ultra accommodating and plan amazing adventures. Go try for yourself. You can thank me later !
