1 - Monday (October 31) : Welcome to Israel

Activities:

  • Welcome to Israel

  • Arrival at Ben Gurion airport - Flight info: arrive at 6.35am El Al28 from Newark.
    Your VIP agent will be waiting to greet you at the sleeve of the plane. After assisting with arrival procedures, collecting your baggage you will be taken to meet your tour guide.

  • Drive south and stop along the way - Visit the grave of David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first Prime Minister, whose vision for settling the desert is continuing to bloom.

  • Recommended: Stop at Lasha Bakery - When it’s time for lunch meet Hadas Meir of the Lasha Desert Bakery and have a light meal at her bakery. “For Meir, baking is a spiritual thing. ‘I think bread is a blessed food. It is the most moving interpretation of combining matter and spirit. Even physically, bread is spiritual in essence. You’ll have a lunch of salads and bread.

  • Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center-National park - Visit the Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center and learn the geological story behind this unique and amazing work of nature through interactive exhibits. At the center, pay tribute to Ilan Ramon, Israel’s first and only astronaut, who tragically died on a space mission in 2003.

    View the crater from a stunning vantage point, at the heart of the promenade which stretches along the Ramon Crater mouth. There is a hanging terrace providing a marvelous observation point over the depths of the crater.

  • Optional additional activities - On this day you can choose to add any of the activities below:
    - visit to 'havat bodedim' isolated farm in the desert - Naot goat cheese farm.
    - Avdat - tour the Nabatean ancient city
    - Nana Farm - unique winery tour and wine tastings. See the vineyards growing in the desert.
    - Visit to David and Pola Ben Gurion's modest desert home in Sde Boker.

  • Check-in to your hotel and have dinner there as well - Meal not included

  • Six Senses Shaharut - Six Senses Hotel is the most highly anticipated hotel project in Israel's history and will open in August 2021. Set in the stunning Arava desert, the facility itself mirrors the splendor of the surroundings.

2 - Tuesday (November 1) : Explore Red Mountains of Eilat

Activities:

  • Breakfast at hotel - Every morning you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

  • Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel

  • Eilat mountains - hike and jeep tour - Go on a 4 hours jeep trip around the beautiful Eilat Mountains. Your private guide will meet you at the hotel and drive to the Red Canyon. The name comes from the dark red sand stone which you will see as you walk through sand, climb over boulders and pass through some geographical formations either climbing down metal ladders or sliding down smooth rock formations of dry waterfalls.
    This is an adventure combining hiking and jeep safari.
    Stop for tea or coffee during our hike.

  • Stop for a panoramic lookout over four countries - From the top of Shlomo Mountain look over the 4 countries and have a geo-political brief.

  • Recommended: lunch at Pundak Neot Smadar (not included)

  • Head back to the hotel and enjoy the resort

  • Dinner at the hotel - (not included)

  • Six Senses Shaharut

3 - Wednesday (November 2) : Day of Leisure (with Optional Visit to Timna Park)

  • Breakfast at your hotel - Every morning you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

  • Full day at leisure - Spa treatments are available. Activities are offered by the hotel.

  • Optional: Add a half day tour to Timna park - Discover beautiful geological formations and the ruins of ancient copper mines in Timna Valley.

  • Dinner at the hotel's restaurant - (on own)

  • Six Senses Shaharut

4 - Thursday (November 3) : Off to Jerusalem and Bethlehem

Activities:

  • Breakfast at your hotel - Every morning you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Depending on time of flight we will see if we can get packed breakfast. Check out from hotel

  • Transfer to Ramon Airport and fly to Tel Aviv - A driver will pick you up and drive you to meet your local guide.

  • Tour Bethlehem - Travel to Bethlehem and tour with a Palestianian Christian guide. Visit the traditional birthplace of Jesus. The Church of the Nativity is thus one of the oldest Christian churches in existence. During the Crusades it was a primary place of pilgrimage.

    We’ll see artwork by the infamous Banksy on the security barrier (separation wall) and spend some time discussing his increased presence in the West Bank since 2003. This will be an opportunity to discuss the barrier from a Palestinian perspective.

  • Optional: authentic lunch and home hospitality at your guide's home

  • Transfer to Jerusalem and check in to your hotel

  • Evening program: part of the main touring program

Terms of Payment

Deposit is due immediately to secure the booking.

Balance for the trip is due no later than 45 days prior to first day of trip.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be cancelled within 48 hours, with a full refund.

Should it be necessary to cancel or postpone the tour due to force majeure circumstances, or Israeli government-imposed/air flight restrictions related to COVID-19,  a full refund may be possible, minus a $200 per person service fee.

For cancellations made:

  • Up to 45 days prior to departure, any payments made above the deposit towards the tour will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable
  • 45 to 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded
  • 29 to 8 days prior to departure, 25% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded
  • 7 to 0 days prior to departure, the client will incur 100% of the cost of the tour

Should members of a group booking cancel their participation, their deposits cannot be applied to the balance payment of other group members.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
