1 - Tuesday ( May 28 ) : Thank you for being here

  • Opening treat at Cassata - World renowned Israeli Chef Eyal Shani's latest masterpiece is a sweet gelato and wine bar in the heart of Hamesila Park. Get to know your fellow group members, staff and tour guide.

  • Be'eri Gallery in Tel Aviv - The gallery was first opened in 1986, on the 40th anniversary of Kibbutz Be'eri. The goal was to bring contemporary Israeli art at its best to the periphery and expose the public to the culture and art that takes place in Israel. On October 7 the gallery was destroyed by Hamas and is re-opening again these days in Beit Romano Tel Aviv who are hosting the gallery for next three years.

2 - Wednesday ( May 29 ) : Bearing witness in the Gaza Envelope



  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Travel south.

  • Stop at the Nova Festival memorial site - At Re'im forest stop and bear witness to the tragedy of the Nova Festival.

  • Geo-politcal tour with Grisha Yakubovich - Stop at key lookout points for an in-depth discussion of the complexity of the Gaza Border situation. Yakubovich served in the Israel Defence Forces for 30 years, ending his career as Head of the Civil Coordination Department of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT). He now consults and guides educational tour of the Gaza Border and the West Bank.

  • Authentic meal and home hospitality in Ofakim - Meet Osi Lankri, one of Ofakim's "Culinary Queens" - Enjoy a home-cooked meal in Osi's home and hear about her life in Ofakim where she was born and raised, and where some of the October 7th's worst events took place.

  • Travel back to Tel Aviv

  • Treating Trauma - a talk with Prof. Roi Salomon - Mr. Salomon is a board member and head of research at SafeHeart non-profit organization. He earned a PhD in Psychology in Haifa University. Solomon will share some stories and methods they use to help the survivors of the music festival. (a donation to SafeHeart is included)

  • Debrief.

3 - Thursday ( May 30 ) : Seeds of hope



  • Breakfast at your hotel & check-out

  • Volunteer at a local farm - HaShomer Hachadash is a youth volunteer program dedicated to safeguarding the land in the Negev, the north, and across the country. Join them in one of the farms and help by picking vegetables and other crops to help ensure Israeli food and nutrition security as well as supporting the local farmers that are dealing with a shortage of workers during this war.

  • Vitkin Winery - wine tasting and light snacks - A family boutique winery. It is considered to be one of the most fascinating in the Israeli wine industry being the pioneer in Mediterranean approach and expertise in producing original Israeli wines.

  • Tour of the magical Tel Dor nature reserve - Meet a professor from Haifa University (Marine Biology OR Archeology - TBC) for a tour of the ancient town located on the shores of the Mediterranean sea.

  • Druze cooking workshop and meal with a family of a Druze soldier - Together with your hosts in their private home, prepare traditional Druze Galilean dishes and then enjoy a meal of the foods you learned to cook. Get to know your hosts and their culture and history. Hear about the strong bond between the Druze community to the State of Israel and their contribution to the IDF. Dinner is included.

  • Travel to Haifa & check-in to the hotel.

4 - Friday ( May 31 ) : The Galilean Story

  • Morning speaker - Mohammad Darawshe - Mohammad Darawshe is considered a leading political analyst and expert on Jewish-Arab relations inside Israel. He is the Director the Center for Shared Society at Givat Haviva

  • Discover the beautiful tapestry of Haifa - Wadi Nisnas is one of Haifa’s most colorful neighborhoods, full of narrow streets, picturesque stone houses, and the Wadi Nisnas market. It is a mixed neighborhood that captures the nature and atmosphere of the city of Haifa - a city of many faiths and communities, that live alongside each other in an exemplary co-existence. A professor from Haifa university will join the tour.

  • Drive north to the border

  • Lunch - Israeli food

  • Geo-political brief at a lookout over Lebanon with an expert - Lookout over the Israel-Lebanese border from Kibbutz Hanita and hear about the geopolitics of the area with an expert from Alma, a non-profit independent research and education center specializing in Israel’s security challenges on its northern border.

  • Visit Jullius Distillery - Jullius is the first artisan distillery in Israel specializing in the production of the finest quality Eaux De Viex (fruit brandies). All the materials used are from the Galilee Mountains manufactured manually using only natural ingredients with no added aromatic or flavoring substances, sweeteners or coloring agents.

  • Travel back to the hotel and take some time to rest before dinner.

  • Enjoy a group Shabbat Friday night dinner - This is an opportunity for a debrief and closing session.

5 - Saturday ( June 1 ) : Shabbat at leisure

General guide for tipping

Tips are not included in the cost of a tour and are always at your discretion. Having said that, in Israel, it is customary to add a gratuity of 15-20% at a restaurant and to tip your guide and driver. For all groups ranging from 2-6 people, it is suggested that you tip the tour guide $70 -$100 (from the group) per day. For groups larger than 8, it is recommended to tip $8-$12 per person, per day + 50% for your bus driver. Please note! Unless stated otherwise, on our group tours, the hotels, restaurants with meals included and serving staff is being generously tips by our staff - on your behalf. If you are not sure, check with your guide or operator for further details.

Are there special travel insurance guidelines during this time?

It is a requirement that trip insurance be purchased. At this time, not all carriers will provide such insurance for travel to Israel.  It is important to make sure that the policy includes coverage for “cancel for any reason” and specifies war and terrorism in the categories of "cancel for any reason". In all events, insurance should be purchased to cover the full cost of the tour, including flights.  We understand that the following company offers this type of policy. Terms of Payment

A deposit of $500 per person is due immediately to secure the booking. The deposit is not refundable.

Balance for the trip is due no later than 60 days prior to the first day of trip. An invoice will be sent 90 days before the trip.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be cancelled within 48 hours, with a full refund.

For cancellations made:

  • Up to 60 days prior to departure, any payments above the deposit towards the trip will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • 60-30 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded.
  • 29-0 days prior to departure, the client will incur 100% of the cost of the tour.

Should members of a group booking cancel their participation, their deposits cannot be applied to the balance payment of other group members.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
