*Cost includes the standard trip package. Upgraded trip packages are available at an additional cost of $800 per person. 

**Single supplement is an additional $1,250 for the standard package, and $1,800 for the upgraded package. 

Triple supplement is an additional $2,700 for the standard package, and $3,500 for the upgraded package. 

Desert lodging supplement is $150 per person for the standard package. Desert lodging option is included in the upgraded package.

^Price for children up to but not including age 13 is $2,400 per child. 

***Qualified participants must register by Aug 31, 2022 and be between the ages of 22-45 at the time of registration to receive this discount. If discounts are still available, those who register between Sept 1-30, 2022 will receive 50% of the additional discount (total discount of $750).

To qualify for any of the discounts listed above, participants must be supporters of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and residents of Minneapolis or the Minneapolis suburbs during the time of the Experience Israel 2023 Mega Mission.

Participation in this mission requires a meaningful commitment to the Minneapolis Jewish Federation’s 2022 annual campaign, which can be made by clicking here.

Registration and Payment Schedule

  • A $500 deposit per person is due upon registration. Deposit is refundable, minus a $100 administrative fee, through May 31, 2022.
  • A $1,000 payment per person (applied to the trip balance), is due by Sept 15, 2022. This payment will be automatically added to the initial deposit for those who register between Sept 1-15, 2022, for a total initial payment of $1,500 ($500 deposit +$1,000 trip payment).
  • Trip balance payment is due by Jan 15, 2023.

Cancellation Policy

  • The deposit, minus a $100 administrative fee, is refundable through May 31, 2022, for a total refund of $400.
  • Full refunds or changes will be possible for cancellations made as a result of force majeure circumstances, or due to Israel-imposed governmental or air flight restrictions related to COVID-19. In that case, refunds will be processed in full, minus a $200 per person administrative fee.
  • For cancellations made for any other reason:
    • Up to 45 days prior to departure, any payments above the deposit towards the trip will be refunded. The $500 deposit is non-refundable.
    • 45-30 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded.
    • 29-8 days prior to departure, 25% of the total tour cost per person will be refunded.
    • 7-0 days prior to departure, the client will incur 100% of the cost of the trip.

  • 2 nights hotel in the South
  • 3 nights hotel in Tel Aviv
  • Breakfast daily
  • 4 lunches
  • 6 dinners
  • Entrance fees for all included activities
  • English-speaking tour guides
  • Tips to guides and drivers
  • Transportation for all programmed itineraries
  • Airport transfers the day before, first day, last day and day after the mission

*Based on the standard package. There will be additional charges incurred should the upgraded package be selected. Option to select upgraded package is based on availability.

NOT Included in the Cost

  • Airfare
  • Travel/medical insurance
  • COVID insurance (required)
  • Any meals not included in the programmed itineraries
  • Any alcohol or wine, unless provided
  • Early check-in or late check-out
  • Excess baggage charges
  • Any items of a personal nature (laundry, telephone, internet, etc.)
  • All COVID-related testing
